September As we go back to school the Monroe Food Pantry needs healthy snacks like packaged fruit and apple sauce. October Let's help those in need bake a sweet treat! Bring cake, cookie or brownie mixes to help families make happy celebrations. November It is getting cold! Let's warm up our neighbors by giving Hot Cocoa Mixes to the Kings Pantry Sandwich Mission. December Time to add lots of Socks and Mittens to the MittenTree! You can also put Candy Stocking Stuffers in the wagon and we will get them to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to pass them out . January Ring in 2012 with a nutritional bang! Together we can fill the wagon with Oatmeal and Peanut Butter. February Love is in the air and all kids love macaroni & cheese! Umm rich, creamy goodness! Give so others will feel UMC's love! March Here comes Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail and he's looking for canned foods for Easter baskets for the needy. Let's be sure he finds what he is looking for in the wagon - Canned sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry relish, gravy etc. the food pantry needs them all. April Soup and crackers go together - let's bring them both! MayEver heard of GORP? Well that is Good Old Raisins and Peanuts! Healthy to mix, healthy to enjoy plain. June Please bring ketchup, mustard and pickles so everyone's backyard cookout is a success! Summer Warm summers + active kids means we need Juice, Juice Boxes, and dry Drink mixes. Keep it flowing all summer.
