What does the Worship Committee do?
The Worship Committee is a very important committee. Working in conjunction with the pastor, the Worship Committee oversees the components of a meaningful, spirit center, and fellowship friendly worship experiences for the United Methodist Church of Monroe. Meaningful Spirit centered worship will always be a moving target for the church as music and visual components change within the milieu of the contemporary religious setting. Worship combines the eternal essence and truth of the Church with a modern expression that “speaks,” inspires the gathered body to live life in a more faithful way.
Here at the United Methodist Church of Monroe we have blended our worship experience to meet a wide variety of needs. We are called to minister and provide meaningful celebrations from cradle to grave, as a broad worshiping community that seeks to include a multiplicity of populations. In our church worship is always being evaluated for its orthodox contemporary expression.
